I have a shoe problem
It’s a big shoe problem. I probably, in all seriousness, average a new pair of shoes every couple months or so, maybe even more often than that. The most recent purchase was just a couple weeks ago, then a pair back in August, and a pair back in June. I don’t need this many pairs of shoes. Every time I buy shoes, I think to myself, “Hey, this will go great with those outfits/shirts/pants/whatever!” All it really does is make it harder for me to pick out which shoes to wear when I get ready to leave in the mornings. Embarrassingly enough, the shoe indecisiveness has made me late a few times too. I find myself looking at shoes pretty often when I have downtime in the NICU.
So that’s what I was doing today when I stumbled across these. (I was actually looking for Evan though and not for me). These are freakin’ awesome. If Evan decides they’re not for him, I may have to buy myself a pair because I think they’re that awesome.
Please, someone out there…stop me. I really can’t afford to average a new pair of shoes every month.

Yeah, men’s size 5 compared to men’s size 13? That would be rather silly-looking.
We should go to Westies after our hair cuts in a couple weeks.
Oops…

Oh no, does Evan not like his shoes from Texas?

No, he really likes those but he wants a black pair as well.

Hey… I want a pair of shoes too… maybe even those. That would be embarrassing to see Evan’s versions and mine next to each other since the sizes are soooo different.
