Back from bakery #1
We talked to the people at Johnnie’s Bakery about the wedding cake and groom’s cake, and left with a pretty good feeling about the place and what they can do. We should be making our decision on who to go with soon, after we meet with Rosebeary’s in about a week. Meanwhile, I’ve been playing around on the Lego website to see what pieces I’ll need to buy to build our cake topper. If it’s not absurdly expensive, it seems Evan would be up to building a Lego cake too… We shall see!

I used Ruth’s Sweet Justice for my wedding. I really liked her a lot. I gave them free reign on Jason’s grooms cake after i told them about him and his research, and they lined the cake with icing DNA, even in 4 different colors. Plus the cake tasted fabulous. The owner used to be a lawyer, hence the name. So try them out if u haven’t committed to a baker yet!
