Moira’s Misadventures
Evan and I picked up Jasmine and then dropped off Moira before heading to Orlando. Moira was exceptionally well-behaved the whole car ride to Camp Bow Wow, acted like herself when she greeted the girls at the camp, but then gave us terribly scornful looks as we said bye to her and left. She seemed to be doing well each time we checked up on her on the camper cams and the camp “counselors” said she was well when we called. We hoped she’d be happy to see us (we were certainly happy to pick her up), but instead she just seemed angry at us for leaving her a couple days prior. She acted aloof, not really wagging her tail or jumping on us or anything.
Then she wouldn’t leave my lap for the drive home. And she won’t leave whichever room we happen to be in now. And she has been unusually sweet and cuddly since. Poor girl…I think she did miss us after all.
