Gina Bean!

Evan and I were at Barnes and Noble the other night when I noticed a Harry Potter display just outside their children’s books section (What?  It was a perfectly reasonable place for me to be.)  I looked around the table a bit and to my surprise, I found The Noble Collection’s replica of Hermione’s wand with an illuminating tip!  And it was $10 cheaper than online!  AND I had a coupon for an additional 15% off, plus my membership discount!!!  Naturally, I bought it.

Moira is terrified of the wand.  The light’s intensity can be adjusted and she doesn’t seem to mind it too much when it’s as dim as possible, but if it’s shining brightly, she hides by Evan or under the dining table.  I think the solution to this is to continue exposing her to the wand so she gets over her fear, so I’ll keep playing with it.
