My clumsiness explained!

If you’ve been around me more than, say, a couple hours total, you’d be familiar with the fact that if I’m not actively paying attention to where I’m going, I’m highly likely to run into anything and everything.  Door frames, door knobs, fridge handles, people, counters, whatever.  Now I know why!  Research has shown that humans can’t walk in straight lines.

(I know I’m not actually blindfolded when I run into things, but I’m going to go ahead and consider “totally self-absorbed in my own little world” equal to “being blindfolded.”  So it works.)
