Another peak into our conversations
Whenever I come across names I like, or names I find extra-nerdy (sometimes they’re the same thing), I run them by Evan as possible names for our kids later on. We don’t plan on having kids for another 4-5 years or so, but hey, we’ve been together nearly 10 years. Most of the time I pick stuff like Frodo or Leia (or the fantastic combination of Pippin Skywalker), but occasionally I’ll mention names I really do like. A month or so ago, I suggested Harper for a girl, after Harper Lee. Evan gave me a firm “maybe” on that one, which is much better than the typical laugh I get.
Then tonight, while looking around at the biography section in Barnes and Noble…
Me: I like Teddy Roosevelt. Hey, how about Theodore for a kid?
Jasmine: Yeah, that’s a good name!
Evan: But that means people would call him Teddy Graham.
Me and Jasmine: That’s awesome, Teddy Graham!!!
Evan: Sigh…

I’m afraid Phono looks too much like Porno at first glance to work. Besides, we’re only planning on having 2 kids
