Gina Bean!

In the midst of almost always capped teams on wards, filling out credentialing paperwork, planning the wedding, getting to know my interns, and working on my QI and research projects, I’ve also been working on board review questions here and there and have managed to convince said interns to do the same.  I think Lori shocked herself a bit to find out how easily some of the answers came to her (I sort of didn’t bother telling her one of the “super easy” questions for her was one I missed).

Unfortunately, all these things happening at once have led to the formation of a stomach ulcer.  I’d sort of had the suspicion something wasn’t quite right about a week ago, but waking up this morning with a gnawing epigastric pain and finding it relieved by food and drink confirmed it for me.  (So where’s my ulcer?!?)  Guess I’ll be on a daily PPI for the foreseeable future.
