So…oops!

I started my blog during intern year with every intention to blog daily, keeping a record (mostly for me to look back upon) of the time spent in residency. I mostly stuck with it, but with my vacation and the very busy month of June, I didn’t blog at all during the last 6 weeks of residency except to say I was back from Mexico.

Soon Jasmine and I will be paving the way as pediatric hospitalists at a new hospital and I’ll be slumming in the Children’s ER for some extra cash. I imagine I’ll have more free time but less to blog about since I won’t be around so many people all the time anymore, so the entries will become less frequent. I want to continue the comics as well but will need to come up with a new name for them.

And we shall see what other life changes are in store for this year…

I finished reading A Game of Thrones in about a week and now am well into the 2nd book in the series, A Clash of Kings. I’ve somehow managed to study, work out, AND read every day since this rotation started and it’s been awesome. So…is this what I have to look forward to in 54 days? Having time to *gasp* do fun stuff alongside the responsible stuff??? I can’t wait!

(If I decide I don’t want to do a fellowship, then I’m done with call forever!!!)

And…25 more days of NICU, with all 4 days off remaining.
