Wow, this is taking a lot longer than expected…

I’m slowly restoring the comics and then I’ll tackle restoring the pictures, especially in posts like the intern retreat one.  Apparently working on the comic files while watching Project Runway isn’t the most productive idea I’ve ever had   It was a lot of fun having my sisters up here to watch with me too.

UGH!

Some jerk hacked my blog and Evan’s blog, so this will be an evolving site over the next few days while we try to get everything back together the way it’s supposed to be.  The comics will be the first images restored and may be the only ones restored, since I don’t remember which Moira [...]

I wonder what these people were looking for

I installed one of WordPress’s plugins some time ago to check blog stats.  Jasmine (wisely) told me I couldn’t estimate how many visits I got based on how many comments I had since a lot of people lurk (eh hem), so I was kind of curious. Okay, okay, I like my ego stroked a bit.  [...]

Ouch, my wallet…

After fretting all yesterday evening and all day at work today, I was able to take my car into the shop for the “low-pitched, grindy, gravelly” noise it was making from the rear passenger tire.  It turned out to be the break pad (as expected) and the cost of replacing both the rear ones was [...]

So I’m having trouble deciding which I lust more at the moment… the previously mentioned HTC TouchPro2, the upgraded version of my phone with Windows Mobile 6.5 and HTC’s very own TouchFlo interface for AT&T, known as the Fortress… Or the HTC Lancaster, the touch-screen, QWERTY Android (hell yeah!) phone I didn’t even know was [...]

So the phone’s coming to T-Mobile this summer.  No word yet on if it’ll be available for AT&T… It may be enough to make me want to switch carriers.  We shall see.

Adrienne brought her label maker to work last week and I had to go out and buy one of my own later that day.  It’s awesome!  I carry it around with me all the time, looking for things to label.  I’ve even said I’m going to label Moira, but for some reason Evan won’t go [...]

Aditi, Adrienne, and I made great use of our time Friday morning before rounds talking about cell phones and looking them up online.  I’m not sure if Adrienne had anything particular in mind already, but Aditi mentioned she might get an iPhone since she loves Apple. Until I showed them the awesomeness of my current [...]

Last month, I wrote a post drooling over the HTC Fuze.  My phone will be eligible for upgrade soon and I was so ready to get the newer version of my phone. And then, lo and behold, this week is the Mobile World Congress.  Microsoft announced Windows Mobile 6.5 and HTC made me forget all [...]

Behold, my lovely, speedy little car.  The 2004 Nissan 350Z.  My dream car. That is, my dream car until November 19th, 2008, when the 2009 Nissan 370Z debuted.  Now, behold my new and improved dream car. 3.7L V6 with 332hp and 270lb-ft of torque, standard 18″ aluminum-alloy rims, built-in HD and CF card reader for [...]

The fleece jacket I ordered at work ended up taking less than a month to come in.  I stuck around clinic after I (sort of) finished my work today to chat, and then Jasmine and I walked to the chiefs’ office to pick it up. It’s awesome!  It has the Children’s logo on one side [...]
